Infantem Comedentis (The Baby Eater) is an exquisitely detailed demon skull from the darkest of unholy pits. With a row of short, needle-like teeth for piercing the tender skulls of its helpless victims to drink their juicy innards, this vile creature keeps its prey from wriggling away with sharp, mandible-like horns heavily scarred from the futile attacks of desperate parents, and competition from ravenous infanticidal kin.
Digitally sculpted in Zbrush from an original design, each MADBELT starts as a high-resolution resin 3D-print. From there, the process is a fully handmade: the print is molded, cast, and finished by the artist with the highest attention to detail. The buckle surface is a fusion of metal powder and urethane resin, known as a "cold-cast", backfilled by high-strength black urethane resin. To finish, the surface is heated, black-waxed, and buffed to reveal details in a shiny real-metal surface texture that resembles antique Damascus steel. Backed by a stainless steel belt buckle assembly, its super tough and ships ready to wear!
